The Squire 's Quest
Imagine a young man in Medeival times. His dream is to serve his king and become a knight. He dreams of slaying dragons and rescuing damsels in distress. But time and again he is laghed at. He is told time and again, "You are too young, too small, and too weak." He is angry and discouraged, but he decides it is time to do something. He seeks out the old knight who is retired and living on the edge of the kingdom. The old knight, thought too old and frail to fight, is very wise and begins to train this young squire in the ways of knight-hood. And so begins The Squire's Quest...

CHARTERED OUTPOST - $35/person if post marked on or before May 16
NON -CHARTERED OUTPOST - $42/person if post marked on or before May 16
REGISTRATION
CHARTERED OUTPOST –$42/person if post marked after May 16
NON -CHARTERED OUTPOST - $49/person if post marked after May 16
Adult Volunteers to staff events - no charge
Early arrival - not before 5PM Wednesday $8/person
An outpost does not need to be chartered to attend Pow-Wow. Non-chartered outposts will pay a higher registration fee.
If your charter is not current, please contact the charter coordinator or district director.
All persons registered will receive a t-shirt. Shirt sizes are ordered based on early registration numbers.
Refund Policy : No refunds will be made. Any outpost submitting fees greater than attendance will receive a credit toward the next district event or a store credit, less $6.00 per person. Any credit must be used by December 31, 2010 , or it will be forfeited.
Medical Forms . Both Rangers and commanders must have a medical form. The Rangers medical forms dated 03/2003 and the Commanders (and voluteers) medical form dated 03/2007 must be used. The forms are on the web site –
www.scdrr.org/forms.htm . Make copies as needed. Please remind your Ranger parents and commanders this form MUST BE NOTORIZED WITH SEAL. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Pastor's Authorization of Adult RR Workers . A Pastor's Authorization form is available on the web site – www.scdrr.org/forms.htm . The pastor must initial for each person and then sign the form. This form is mandatory for the protection of our Rangers. DO NOT mail this form with your registration . Bring it with you to Pow-Wow.
