I-385 Rehab Halts Northbound Traffic
Beginning January 4, 2010 the South Carolina Department of
Transportation (SCDOT) will be closing the northbound lanes of I-385
for 8 months. Completion scheduled for August 15, 2010.
“I-385 northbound will be closed from I-26 to SC Route 101
(approximately 15 miles), and will be detoured up I-26 to I-85, and all
access to northbound I-385 from the crossing routes between I-26 and
SC 101 will also be closed.”
As I understand it, you can travel southbound (Greenville to Clinton) on
I-385, but all northbound traffic will be detoured for the duration of the
project.
As you make plans to attend the NMLRA course, the banquet, Pow
Wow, or any events in between, please take time to plan your route
around this construction project so you can avoid delays and keep
yourself and your Rangers safe. You will be affected either coming or
going. Increased traffic on secondary roads will mean more accidents.
Please plan ahead.
