Trace

2012 40th Anniversary Trace April 13th - 15th. Please make sure that you pass this along to all of your fellow FCF brethren. Get ready to pack your gear and we'll see you at the River Oaks. Remember Old Timers that we need to bring all of them Young Bucks with us. As much as us Old Timers like these here FCF doins' we need to remember that these doins' are put on to minister to the Young Bucks. Also I want to make sure that all of you Buckskin and Wilderness fellas remember to bring an item for a prize as well as an item for our Missions Auction. Let's make this the Trace that we have the best prizes and the best Missions Auction ever. (BRING SOME EXTRA FIREWOOD)

The annual Swamp Fox Chapter Trace is always a great event.  The locations (Gaston, Honea Path, Sumter ) are beautiful, the cook-off gives you the chance to sample cuisine from the best open fire chefs around, and the speakers are inspired.  We always have exciting events like the hawk and knife throws, flint and steel fire making, and black powder muzzleloader shooting.  In my opinion, the most exciting thing about every Trace is the missions auction.  It is exciting to watch our members (with God's help) raise over $1000 for missions every year.

Remembering the 2006 Trace

The 2006 Swamp Fox Trace was held at River Oaks Retreat Center from March 31, 2006 through April 2, 2006. The business meting started off with an announcement by Chapter President, Kenneth "Two Hawks" Fields, that he was resigning as Chapter President and will be moving with his family to France at the end of May. "Two Hawks" was presented a Brass Quill Set, a Brass Compass, a 40th Anniversary FCF Patch, a signed Fred Deaver print, and a Lambert Mug from Springfield, MO. "Two Hawks" was also given a Lifetime Membership in the Swamp Fox Chapter. "Two Hawks" was also named as the fourth recipient of the Descending Dove Award. Thank You "Two Hawks" for your service and your leadership of the Swamp Fox Chapter. The Swamp Fox Chapter has been a Five Star Chapter for six years in a row under the leadership of "Two Hawks". Toby "Crying Coyote" Tarver was named the new President of the Swamp Fox Chapter. Our annual missions auction took in $2288 along with $150 left over from last year. $420 will be sent to Royal Rangers International with the balance going to Gene "Old Turkey" Hancock, Missionary to Belize.
