National Royal Ranger Council

Pastors, Senior Commanders, Commanders, Councilmen and Others,

During the national Royal Ranger council we were overloaded with information.  Change has almost become a way of life in Rangers.  The changes that are coming are going to be big, but they will be implemented over time.  We are not looking at revolutionary changes, but evolutionary changes.

Saturday, June 28, 9AM—4PM, we will be holding a day long meeting (location to be announced) to give you all the details on the following subjects:

    GPH—Open under new management.

    The Uniform—Is khaki still in?

    Curriculum—Do I need a new computer?

Ranger of the Year—One more time!

    Bible Merits—Building Godly men.

The Pencil—The most used tool in Rangers.

    Training—Rangers Ministry Academy

There will also be the usual discussions on Pow Wow and other subjects pertinent to our district.

I am asking you to mark this date on your calendar, make every effort to be at this meeting, and bring all your commanders, councilmen and your pastor, too.  This is probably the most important meeting we have had since Richard Marriot became national commander.

I need you to keep your focus on the 2008 Pow Wow, so please do not call me asking questions about these changes.  We will cover it all in our meeting.  In the meantime download the following from the national Royal Ranger website:

RR: SEEK & SAVE ARTICLES Read the plans born from of the yearlong QLC (question, learn, change) survey results.

QLC FEEDBACK – Once you have read the vision “Seek & Save” articles, click here to give us your informed feedback.

Read this info.  Write down your questions.  Be ready to discuss how these changes will affect the South Carolina district, and how it will affect your outpost.  I look forward to seeing each of you at our Summer Commanders meeting.  RTKBC!

Michael
