SCDRRRA Pinewood Derby Guidelines - Version 2.0
- How much work should I put into it?
- Cars for any Ranger's category of competition should reflect the work of a boy himself or the work of a boy and an adult.
No car should be entered into competition that does not reflect to some extent the work of a boy.
The work should reflect the ability of the boy according to age.
- Example: A straight arrow may only be able to sand and paint a car, where a trailblazer should be able to completely build the car.
(Exceptions do exist)
- How are awards determined?
Trophy sizes will be determined by the height of the trophy column
(this does not include base or headpiece).
The following is a list of column heights for various levels of racing:

Judging of cars for "Best Design" will be by the following formula:
| Originality |
